This is my indoor plant ☘️ singonium. I don't know her actual age but it lives with me from 7 yrs. These plant babies filling my life with love. It has a climbing and creeping nature. These leaves are arranged alternately along the stems. She looks great in evening sunset and love grows here.
Syngonium is a popular houseplant with attractive heart-shaped leaves.
How to care:
It needs bright light but tolerate low light. The Syngonium prefers warm temperatures and high humidity. Keep your Syngonium away from very hot and cold air that can harm it. Avoid locations with full sun. As direct sunlight will tend to burn it's leaves. Once a month i cut the dried leave parts to increase the beauty of plant.
Place a layer of gravel or activated charcoal at the bottom for drainage in the soil pot.
Do daily water💦 supply for it. In the cooler months, your plant won’t want much water.
Little amount of Fertilizer:
You can feed your Syngonium with a balanced liquid fertiliser in spring and summer. Keep your houseplants happy and healthier. Iam just using rice water to nourish my plant day after day.
These plants want mild moisture, organic matter such as a high coco coir. It can be grown in well-drained sandy soil or cocoPotting. Adding organic matter to the soil can help to improve its structure, fertility, and moisture-holding capacity.
For beautiful look:
A matured Syngonium develops a climbing habit, which looks lovely climbing on other supporting plants. I never tried, but I have seen in friend's house. I like to look her as a bush.
Adding Syngonium plants to a room can enhance its aesthetic appeal and create a lively atmosphere. This plant's vibrant leaves can add a touch of greenery to any room. My baby singonium is in vibrant green coloured. This is her picture of 4 years old.
Syngoniums is available in various leaf colors and patterns. You can also pair them with plants of different heights, shapes to create new varieties.
Easy to maintain:
The Syngonium plant is known for its attractive arrow-shaped leaves with pale green and pink tones. It is a low-maintenance plant that thrives in bright, indirect sunlight and moderate watering.
Place your Arrowhead Plant near an east, west, or north facing window where it will get plenty bright light without direct southern exposure.
Repot young actively growing plants in the spring every 2-3 years as needed to provide room for expansion. Older, mature plants may only need repotting every 4-5 years. I was repotted it 3years back, it helps much oxygen supply to our plant.
Plants are friends that always keep you company “Bringing nature indoors with plants is like having a piece of paradise at home.”
Thank you💚
